Einen unsichtbaren Freund zu haben ist schon cool. Mit dem kann man überall hingehen und braucht vor vielen Situationen keine Angst zu haben. Ob es in der Schule darum geht, eine Mathearbeit oder einen Deutschtest zu bestehen, oder im Dunkeln nach Hause zu gehen oder bei Mutproben. Die unsichtbaren Freunde sind immer gut.
Doch die meisten unsichtbaren Freunde und Helden haben eins gemeinsam: Kommt es hart auf hart, sind sie nicht da. Gott ist auch unsichtbar, aber im Gegensatz zu allen Superhelden und unsichtbaren Freunden ist er wirklich da. Das ist eine Tatsache, auch wenn es für die Kinder ganz schwer vorstellbar ist.

Idee 1: Wanted
Auf dem Steckbrief ist ein Bild von David zu sehen. Darunter steht:
Gesucht wird David aus dem Geschlecht Isai. Belohnung garantiert. Nur lebend. Hinweise erbittet der König persönlich.
Ein Mitarbeiter spielt eine Person, die den Steckbrief aufhängt. Er geht im Raum umher und hängt an verschiedenen Stellen Steckbriefe auf und verteilt an die Kinder kleine Handzettel, auf denen das gleiche Bild wie auf dem großen Steckbrief zu sehen ist.
Der Steckbriefaufhänger sagt: „Oh Mann, diese Arbeit ist einfach zu anstrengend. Kennt ihr diesen David?“
Mit den Kindern werden gemeinsam ein paar Stationen aus Davids Leben wiederholt, zum Beispiel die Salbung durch Samuel (die aber ein großes Geheimnis ist, welches der König nie erfahren darf),
der Sieg gegen den riesigen Philister Goliat, die Freundschaft zu Jonatan, David
als Musiker bei Saul.
Steckbriefaufhänger: „Eigentlich ist der David ein Held. Er hat leidenschaftlich für Israel gekämpft und ist immer als Sieger nach Hause zurückgekehrt. Alle Menschen im Volk mochten ihn. Ich weiß
nicht, warum Saul ihn unbedingt gefangen nehmen will. Aber ich weiß, dass David richtig Angst vor Saul hat. Ich habe ein paar Freunde, die mit David unterwegs sind. …
