Wer früher stirbt ist länger tot – ein Kinofilm der sich gut für einen Gruppenabend eignet. Methodische Bausteine und hilfreiche Tipps zum Umgang mit Filmen.
Wenn in Deutschland ein Kinofilm über eine Million Zuschauer hat, dann ist das schon ein Erfolg. Kommt er aus Hollywood, dann ist das nichts Ungewöhnliches. Ist er im tiefsten Oberbayern gedreht, dann schon. „Wer früher stirbt ist länger tot“ war der Überraschungshit 2006 und einer der Filme, die sich noch lange in den Kinos gehalten haben – und das über den Weißwurstäquator hinaus. Dabei sind die Rahmenbedingungen für einen Publikumserfolg eher schwierig: es wird bayrisch gesprochen, so dass einem das Verstehen nicht immer leicht gemacht wird. Inhaltlich geht es um „schwere“ Themen wie Tod, Trauer, Schuld. Also eher Inhalte für einen Streifen, der in der Ecke „Problemfilm“ zu suchen ist, dem nicht sehr viele Zuschauer vergönnt sind. Doch den Machern des Films ist es gelungen, diese Nische zu verlassen und ein breites Publikum anzusprechen. Eben weil die Themen ansprechen und ganz dicht an dem dran sind, was uns beschäftigt. Worum geht es also? Lassen wir einmal die Darsteller des Films zu Wort kommen. Zunächst den jungen Hauptdarsteller Markus Krojer: „In dem Film geht es um Liebe, Trauer und Tod.
